November Prayer Update

Dear prayer partners,

In August we asked for you to pray for our trip to Arizona, and we know that many of you did! God blessed and provided for us during that trip, and allowed us to make some new connections. We were in Phoenix for nearly a month (we think that Jack was beginning to forget about our home in SC!) and presented in four churches. We picked up a number of prayer supporters, as well as two financial partners thus far (one church and one individual). We really had a great time in AZ, and enjoyed being able to visit some of my (Michael's) favorite places from childhood visits. We are also blessed to have church family praying for and encouraging us—at one point they sent us a care package with treats for the family and toys for the kids!

Prayer needs: We have two specific prayer needs. The first is that we will be able to finalize details regarding our planned survey trip to France this upcoming January. There are a couple of things that go into this request. First, we need to receive the kids' passports back from the agency in time (we don't suspect we will have a problem there, but we don't know). Second, France needs to actually be open for us to travel there! That is somewhat uncertain with covid numbers rising at the moment. Will you pray with us that we will indeed be able to make this trip and not have to postpone again?

The second request is that we will be able to find an affordable replacement for our minivan. A few days ago a large branch fell on it, damaging it beyond repair. We know that God is in control, and that he will provide. Thankfully, we have a second vehicle that we can all fit into for around-town trips! We are also praising God for the generosity of family, neighbors, and our church for chipping in toward a replacement! God provides!

As always, please keep praying that we will be able to continue making connections and building new partnerships!

-Your friends, Michael, Jessica, Amelia, and Jack Dunlop.

  • We still have several churches who have indefinitely postponed their meeting plans with us; pray that we will be able to reschedule soon.

  • Pray that God will use our upcoming survey trip to give guidance and continued motivation.

  • Pray that we will have continued wisdom in training up our children. Amelia has been asking questions about the gospel and we believe that God is working on her heart.
